Accountable Tech partnered with several nonprofits to advocate for California Senate Bill 1047, a landmark bill that would require AI developers to follow common-sense safety guidelines for new AI models. We worked with celebrities and influencer agencies to encourage more Californians to contact their assemblymembers.

Once SB 1047 passed the General Assembly, we shifted our focus and urged Governor Gavin Newsom to sign the bill into law. We launched a petition for users to show their support, which also added them to our email list.

I tracked posts from celebrities for internal use, including grassroots fundraising emails, quarterly reports, donor retention, and digital strategy.
